In 1991, me (Kath Holden, then aged 15) and my Mum, Margaret Shaw, started creating miniatures to sell, naming our business Delph Miniatures after the road we lived on. On leaving Upper school aged 18 with design qualifications, I joined Mum in being a full-time miniaturist. Over the years we have developed an extensive range of modern miniatures for all sorts of settings, all created by us in house. Mum has continued to work well past retirement age and still produces her fantastic miniature foods, providing the finishing touches to many of my modern shop fridges and fittings. My son also helps out with the family firm, bringing with him new ideas and new technologies!
2026 is our 35th year of trading and we are blending our traditional methods of production with new 3D printing, creating fantastic new miniatures for our collectors to discover. As ever we have been customer led, and inspired by our everyday surroundings and excited to share them with you!
