My love of Dolls House’s and miniatures started back in December 1998 when I asked Santa for a Dolls House. I left the magic key at the door and much to my surprise Santa delivered!! In my Christmas stocking was a Classical Dolls House, and on Christmas Day I started to build the kit, needless to say, I was hooked!
I have years of experience creating miniatures, knitting, crocheting, turning wood, the list goes on but my passion is painting in miniature using water colours. I am from Northern Ireland, and live on the picturesque Ards Peninsula where the natural beauty and countryside is picture perfect and as a keen photographer this provides me with the most amazing opportunities to capture the rolling countryside, areas of natural outstanding beauty and sunsets all of which I paint in miniature. I also travel quite a bit and many of my paintings are from pictures I’ve taken from all over the world. I have been painting in miniature for 18 years, over the years I have taken on commissions and sold my paintings on Ebay and at local dolls house fairs. I have always wanted to be an exhibitor at Miniatura (which I attend every year) and this year my dream has come true, I am so looking forward to travelling to the NEC in March 2022.
