I always helped my sister Georgie Steeds on her Miniature Garden stand at all the shows and then I got the flower making bug!  I used to sell some of my finished flower arrangements on her stand and then when she retired from shows to sell her kits online I stopped for a while.

Then lockdown hit and I started making again. I decided to be bold and sell at a few shows in my own right so Miniature Garden Florals was born with my first show in 2022.  Its so lovely to be able to meet customers face to face and get feedback as to what they might want to see in future. Georgie now comes to support me and sells a few of her 1/24th and 1/48th kits at the end of my table.

In my full size life I am a photographer and specialise in garden and plant photography and so inspiration is never lacking especially when I attend the large flower shows. All my work is made of paper and wire and put together petal by petal, its time consuming but I find making very therapeutic especially as I’m not very good at just sitting!
