When did you start making?

– I have been working with resin for over 7 years, and after a new order on Dollhouse Front Decoration, I thought to myself, since I make items for big humans, why not include the little humans as well! 

 

What inspired/inspires you?

– I have always had a special place in my heart for dollhouses ❤️

 

What was your first make?

– I started with a 1:12 floral coffee table creation.

 

If you sell at shows, what do you like about that? 

– It’s like a new step for me in my career, trying to make something new by using the style of art that I have been using for so long. 

 

Where do you do your work?

– Currently I have a separate spare room in our home. However, from next year, I will be remodelling our garage space and taking my workshop there, so that I can expand on my creativity. 

 

How long does it take you to make something? 

– First I need to come up with an idea, then make a mould for it, then pour the resin with multiple layers. The smaller the creation, the bigger attention to detail, but as for time, that will always vary. 

 

What special skills/tools/materials do you use? 

– My main material is epoxy resin, but I think the special creations I have had are the ones where I can capture a memory for one of my customers, with maybe an image of their beloved furry family member, or something like the flowers from their wedding day. 

 

Any funny stories?

– One time, I received a price request to do with one of the images I uploaded on Instagram, which was a miniature table, that the customer thought was a full scale one 🤭

 

What other craftspeople do you admire?

– I found my inspiration for the miniature work after seeing some of the work by Hannah Lemon Art.
