The Shepherd’s Hut England – miniature objects hand made in the Cotswolds.

Miniature Agas – Each of our miniatures are made to be as accurate as possible to their full-size counterparts. Starting from scale drawings and photographs that I make from the original, these are scaled down to their ultimate finished size (allowing for shrinkage in materials).

Casting patterns are then made in wood, plastic, clay, milliput, copper and aluminium. From which moulds are taken and the individual parts cast in white metal. These parts are then cleaned up, prepared and hand-painted and sprayed in colour matched enamel paints.

The Aga body, top plate, front and ovens are all made in cast metal. The body rear case is in formed sheet metal.

The opening doors have that satisfying Aga closing mechanism and the oven liners feature running grooves for the optional pan racks (can be purchased separately). The hob lids open and rest back and are lined with rope as the original. The removable, heavy cast metal hot plate barrels are sealed into the top plate with ropes and the main barrel has a separate removable viewing plate.

The burner unit oven door has an opening door for access to the optional removable burner unit (available separately).

The Agas are available in a two or four oven option, assembled and finished ready for your miniature kitchen.

Accurate scale models of working Georgian sash windows with lead weights, ropes, pulleys and real scale glass – face glazed with real putty. Jointed with mortice, tenon and dowelled joints. These windows open and close exactly as their full-size counter-parts.
