Over the years Artofmini.com has developed a unique style that can be best described as ‘atmosphere creators on a miniature scale’.
The warmth of our attractive miniature rooms and scenes feels like cosy past times. When you look at our creations we want you to feel like a very special guest. We work with colour compositions and like to create effects with layers. The warm feeling is achieved by an inventive use of colour, the still lives, the beautiful decorated tables and the numerous trinkets. Each element holds your attention just long enough to make you want to become part of the scene, to sit in a comfortable chair, close your eyes and drift away.
Our strength is our creativity. We design and produce a wide variety of products. Sometimes it takes months to create a new scene, and other times all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place right away. Once a scene has been imagined attention is given to every square inch. It has to be perfectly realistic but also to be achievable for the customer.
Next year we will open the doors to our new Artofmini.com space in Germany. Our old barn has been completely renovated (by our own hands!) completely transformed into a two storey space. Our stock and machinery are up on the first floor and downstairs we have a beautiful workshop space, a point of sale and a studio where we paint all the new miniatures.
