Our History

Our shop was established over 70 years ago as a model and toy shop by Jennifer’s father. Jennifer and Andy took over the running of the shop in the early 80’s and started stocking dolls house furniture and DIY materials. As the popularity of the hobby grew we imported more and more specialist items from the United States and Spain and started exhibiting at Miniatura dolls house show at the NEC. The 90’s bought a huge amount of interest in the hobby and the shows increased in number until we were exhibiting at between 15 and 18 shows a year!! This was a punishing schedule with a busy shop to run as well. We launched our online shop in 2002 and it has gone from strength to strength, retiring from the shop in 2014 to concentrate on the internet business. We also cut back the smaller shows so that we could put all of our efforts in to Kensington, Miniatura and York.

The Present

We have many new lines to be added to the online shop. We are constantly searching for new products to be able to offer quality miniatures from around the world. We continue to specialise in products for the builder, notably, lighting, wallpapers, hardware, wood, tools, Pretty pleaters and specialist adhesives. We have many years experience sending parcels all around the world.
