Magic Minis By Sam

I’ve always been fascinated and obsessed by anything smaller than it should be, as a child i would love collecting anything tiny, seeing how many teeny things fit inside matchboxes, collecting keyrings or erasers as they were perfect small copies of real life and we always had access to many types of craft items as a child, my mum would make us our toys and bears, we would furnish cardboard dollshouses with matchbox drawers, make tiny toilet rolls and clay fruits so it really was a natural progression to go into making miniatures full time.

My son makes miniature bears and paints 3D printed miniatures as well, so we often make collaborations or he will make bears to compliment dolls that I am making, and my daughter makes fabric beanbags for my babies to sit in, coordinating fabrics so it really is a miniature family affair.

I admire all crafts people out there, they are some wonderful creations out there and i love to see what comes from people imaginations and hands, it gives me great joy to see handmade items because you know how much thought and love has gone into that creation and im so excited to be doing my first Miniatura show this year and really looking forward to meeting other miniature makers and collectors.
