Lara Byng has painted since childhood and 3 years ago set up her own small business Dark Willow Art producing original & ethereal moonlit landscapes of all sizes, with a passion for painting miniatures. In recent months however, she discovered the wonderful world of Doll’s Houses and alongside her Dark Willow Art, has begun re-creating famous miniature masterpieces specifically for Doll’s Houses after artists such as Edward Robert Hughes, J.W. Waterhouse, Rosetti, Grimshaw, and Degas, to name just a few. A separate Etsy shop for her dolls house miniatures is soon to follow.
Lara has sold both her own original style of paintings and her Doll’s House miniatures worldwide and exhibited her work in galleries and museums across the U.K. and as a newcomer to the world of Doll’s Houses, is excited to showcase her miniature masterpieces, at fairs such as Miniatura.
