Miniatura

I make detailed resin miniatures exclusively in the smaller scales. I mainly work in 1/48th scale, with some items also in 1/24th and 1/144th. My miniatures are available completely finished and hand painted or as unpainted kits. 

I have had a lifelong interest in miniatures and modelmaking, and I’ve been working with digital 3d modelling for over two decades. Recently, quality 3d printing became more accessible, which allowed me to combine these interests.

I began my digital miniatures project in 2019 by printing some chimneys and fireplaces for my 1/48th scale mini house. Three years later my shop has grown to become a full time job, with regular sales all over the world! My ‘Raven’s Perch’ is still, sadly, unfinished…

I’m very lucky to now have my own workshop space in our house. This is where I hand-finish, paint and pack orders, as well as designing new models. I also have space in the cellar for the sticky, smelly parts of the operation.

Making a new model involves research, sculpting a good likeness, then refining the digital model so that it will print and paint well. It can take months from beginning work on a new model to listing it for sale. 

I have great respect for traditional miniature craftspeople who are able to achieve stellar results using genuine materials like wood and textiles. As one works at increasingly smaller scales, it becomes much harder to use these materials effectively and that’s where resin models come in.
