Who am I? Liz Forbear-White. Self-taught polymer clay artist. From Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

What do I make? Polymer clay creations. Whimsical sizing & scale, mixing humour with miniatures. Inspired by Maileg and needle felted mice.

Inspiration: Vintage inter-war style, Alice in Wonderland, Vaudeville circus, English afternoon tea partys.

What’s Different: If a mouse actually owned a house everything would be oversized so I play with this in my work. Rustic, vintage, whimsical style. Larger-than-life statement pieces for mice. Emma Bridgewater herself owns two sets of my minis.

My Story: I Started making minis for my own mice to fill in gaps in my collection. Now shared with collectors worldwide. I work in small batch production 20-30 pieces at a time. 

My World: Vintage and whimsical detail. Fluid mouse scale – think The Borrowers. Cotton reel tables & giant cheese wedges. Immersive seasonal collections. Themed collections- English afternoon tea, vintage circus and Alice in Wonderland are just a handful of themes I have made for my sell out online releases.
