Miniatura

We are husband and wife team, Gary and Heidi Masters. We have over 25 years experience specialising in the making of miniatures from Tudor, Georgian and Victorian periods through to 1920s-1940s.
We make most household furniture, from scullery items to our popular Chinese Chippendale chairs, with their very fine, hand-cut lattice backs. Many customers prefer a centrepiece such as one of our leaded glass bureaus or sideboard.

We replicate full-size furniture to an intricate 1/12th and 1/24th scale miniatures.

Over the years we have accumulated a vast collection of items we stock of our own favourite pieces including many customer commissions we have added to our catalogue.

The workshop is a busy place as we fulfil telephone and internet orders and maintain stock levels for large Doll’s House Fairs. We have attended these all over Europe and a few big shows in America.

We have met some amazing people along the way, both clients and fellow craftsmen, and have made many lifelong friends. Our business has flourished, providing us with an income while doing what we love and helping to support our family as it has grown. Perhaps one of the children will learn the skills and keep Masters Miniatures going for a third generation!
