My passion for all things miniature started in the summer of 2019 with a Sid Cooke Empire Stores that I got for my antique shop. My thinking was I would sell it on but it was unfinished, something about it spoke to me and I knew I had to finish it That was it, I was HOOKED!
When I realised there were no dollhouse/miniature shops in the North West England I started moving out of the antiques business and into dollhouses & accessories. So I now have a full dollhouse shop in Morecambe selling a large range of new, pre loved, artisan and vintage houses as well as accessories in prices to fit all budgets.
I found that everyone who walks in the door loves miniatures but not everyone has room for a full dollhouse, so I started to make the miniature rooms from lanterns and other unusual things. I have created a lot of gift commissions for people and businesses but above all my favourite thing to do is create abandoned looking scenes by distressing miniatures.
I was lucky to have a big Urbex YouTuber commission me to do a full abandoned house using “Beacon Hill” by Greenleaf so this kept me busy over lockdown.
