The miniatures of Miss Amelia are the work of artisan Janine Crocker, specialising in the design and creation of 1:12 millinery from all eras. Each miniature hat is unique and the range includes elegant cloche hats from the 1920’s, outrageously decadent Edwardian picture hats, romantic Regency bonnets and contemporary designs, using traditional millinery techniques and vintage and modern silks and laces. Each hat is silk lined and bears the ‘Miss Amelia’ silk label.
The most recent addition to Miss Amelia’s portfolio is an exquisite collection of quarter scale hats and dresses to delight collectors, reflecting Edwardian, Steampunk and Victorian fashions. These can be displayed on tiny hangers or on mannequins and again can be made to order to suit your theme.
Custom orders for dressed beds and furnishings in all scales are welcome, using your colour and fabric choices, and in some cases a piece of furniture owned by the collector, to create the miniature centrepiece of your dreams.
Janine Crocker lives in the Canary Islands, where she has been happily combining her love of miniatures with family life and her beloved dogs for over 17 years. Her work can be found in miniature collections all over the world.
