Recreating reality in miniature, particularly to retell memories or to recreate the past that has been lost
What was your first make?
A interior diorama of a locomotive works, sadly still in the design phase 10 years on!
If you sell at shows what do you like about that?
We love meeting customers and hearing about their projects and where we can help. With our 3D scanner we can help customers create something unique and very specific to their project
Where do you do your work?
We have a studio in Bristol
How long does it take you to make something?
Using 3D printing, smaller figures can take up to an hour, with large 1:12th figures taking around 7 hours in grey resin and 25 hours in full-colour!
What special skills / tools / materials do you use?
We use an instant 3d scanner which produces high-resolution 3d scans and resin 3d printing to create miniatures.
Any funny stories?
We are regularly asked to 3d scan pets and had a pair of pugs visit our studio which provided a lot of entertainment, including a toilet-break in our 3d scanner!
