Miniatura

In 1984, I was given an advert for Miniatura at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, I had always wanted a dolls house so off I went and like many miniaturists I became hooked.

The first Georgian house, the thrill of the chase to fill the house, the room settings and the dioramas. I joined The Heart of England Doll and Toy Club which unfortunately is no more and Rugby Miniaturists an active group seen at Miniatura each Year. Houses kept coming, club projects, all those boxes of useful items and now we can’t move. (Doesn’t help that my husband’s trains are everywhere too).

The time has come to begin the big downsize so come a find me with everything from a 50p box to a 3’6’ lighthouse.
