Petite Properties is a family business that was founded by Bea Broadwood back in 2003, when she began creating miniature model buildings at her kitchen table. Initially working solely in 1:24, Bea began her journey into the miniature world by making ‘one off’ bespoke houses, cottages and shops. Over the last 18 years, what started as merely a creative distraction, quickly flourished and grew into a full time family business; with Tony (Bea’s husband) joining Bea’s ‘cottage’ industry in 2010, followed by Mo, (their youngest daughter) in 2013.

Today, Petite Properties are leading the way in the smaller dolls house scales, creating unique and affordable dolls house and furniture kits in 1:24, 1:48 and 1:144 and offering the largest range of quarter scale kits in the UK. Over the years, they have cleverly developed different collections within their extensive range to satisfy every taste or genre within the miniature world. In recent years, the popularity of 1:48 scale miniatures has soared and Bea’s extensive range of versatile designs in this highly addictive scale show that she has her finger firmly on the miniature world’s pulse. From mystical, fantasy dwellings to authentic British street scenes; they have something for everyone and kits to suit every pocket!

Petite Properties have been exhibiting at both the spring and autumn Miniatura shows for the last 16 years and each time they do, they always make sure they launch brand new smaller scale kits exclusively at the show!
