Welcome to my ‘little’ world of miniatures. I started out after serving 22 years in the Royal Air Force making a couple of 1:12 room boxes. I then moved to 1:48 scale and became hooked on the amount of detail you can achieve in a small scale. When I make my own models for display I always decorate, furnish and light them. Now I also make in 1:144 which is very rewarding.
At the shows and on Etsy, I sell ready made furniture and houses in 1:48 and 1:144 scales using kits by Petworth Miniatures, Jean Day, Jane Harrop, Raptoor Crafting, littlemissminiature, Templewood Miniatures , lasershrinkray and melissasminiwereld. I do little 1:144 scenes under glass domes as display pieces for people. I have just started making room boxes from kits by Cornel73 that I sell at the shows, they are decorated inside and out and also lit. I undertake commission work too so if you would like a kit finished or decorated in a particular way then please get in touch.
