As long as I can remember I have enjoyed creating, although I have no formal training apart from night classes for enjoyment. I dabbled with oils, pastels and watercolours but was often guilty of being too ‘tight’ in my style. Then I bought my daughter a dolls house and discovered the medium of polymer clay and learnt I could use my love of detail to create realistic food and other items for her dolls house that were far nicer than anything available in store at the time. Life got in the way but I rediscovered art again and opened my original Etsy shop, TinyMorselCreations, in 2017 to sell my dolls house miniature creations which have sold worldwide.

It takes me many hours to create my 1/12 scale ‘tiny morsels’. I try to make each element as realistic as possible, mixing clay colours and using textures to imitate the real thing and bring your dolls house to life. I feel I’ve ‘cracked it’ when I begin to forget I’m working with clay and I can almost smell the food!
