Valley View Silver
A range of handmade silverware, handpainted canalware & floral decorated items. Mainly 1/12th scale.
A few years ago I had the opportunity to learn silversmithing to make jewellery, then realised I could go back to my love of 12th scale miniatures using silver and did a lot of experimenting!
I now make a range of 12th scale handmade Silver miniatures, from Fruit bowls to Cake slices in either .958 Britannia Silver or .925 Sterling Silver. Also I hand paint 12th scale Traditional Canalware (Roses and Castles), Floral and Christmas designs on a variety of dollshouse accessories, where possible I make these pieces from scratch with fine wood. I have been exhibiting at shows in the South West and am now very pleased to trade at Miniatura.
My silverware is simple and stylish and not particularly designed for any specific time period making them suitable for any style dollshouse. Each piece of silverware is handmade by myself using traditional silversmithing techniques in either .925 or .958 Silver sheet/wire. No two pieces are identical therefore each piece is unique. I am registered with Birmingham Assay Office, although my 12th scale work does not weigh enough to be hallmarked each piece bears my Maker’s Mark (WHS).
I was lucky enough to have my silverware featured in April 2018 Dollshouse World magazine. To see more please visit my website.
