Reina Mab have had a shop in Buenos Aires in Argentina since 1988, it is dedicated to selling doll houses and miniatures in one twelfth scale.
.
Ricardo is an engineer and Elisa is an architect and theater scenographist as such they love to work with their hands and are also passionate about researching the history of the miniatures they make.
This is what motivated them to begin designing miniatures and every year they try to improve them, making more and more Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian replicas.
Their first show was Miniatura back in 2004, since then they have tried many different shows in the UK, Netherlands, Spain, France, Belgium and Germany. Between shows they return home to run the shop and see their clients in Argentina, sharing everything they have learned on their travels.
"We love to came to the shows, get to know nice people and interesting colleagues and share our own experience. Right now we are working on a 1930's refrigerator because people asked us for a fridge to match our gas kitchen stove from that period."
